Kingstown Furniture has joined the British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM) as an ‘Approved Member’.
The family-run business, which manufactures ready assembled bedroom and lounge furniture, has become the latest company to join the trade association which already sees membership from prestigious British names including Silentnight, Parker Knoll, Alstons, Shire Beds, Hypnos and Sherborne among its 200 member companies.
Said BFM md Jackie Bazeley: "We are delighted to welcome Kingstown Furniture into the association. It is a successful UK cabinet maker with principles that match ours. The company is already maximising use of our Great British Furniture (GBF) campaign to raise awareness of its products and heritage.”

Kingstown has also recently been awarded the Associated Independent Stores (AIS) Gold Standard Award for its dedication to service and quality.
The British Furniture Manufacturers is a trade association that has represented the interests of the British furniture industry for more than 65 years. It has a broad based membership covering domestic, contract, office and kitchen manufacturers as well as suppliers to the industry and retailers who enjoy a number of benefits including access to expertise across a number of subjects including export, the EU timber regulations, health and safety, commodity pricing and the environment.
